Ileana D'Cruz ia an Indian film actress born in the year August 19th 1987 in Mimhai.
She made her Telugu language debate through YVS Chowdhary's Devadasu opposite newcomer ,Ram but also done a Tamil language film and has recently signed a Hindi language film.
She was born in India of Goan Parentage .Her parents named her name after Ileana from Greek mythology.
She debuted in Telugu Language film Devadasu in 2006 by YVS Chowdary who spoted her in a Fail and Lovely ad film directed by Rakesh Roshan.The film did not ger good reciews from the critics ,but it was a success at the box office and Ileana attracted a lot of attention for her charm and beauty.
Her breakthough came with her ecomg Telugu film where she essayed the role of Shruti opposite Mahish Babu in the highly successful Pokiri.The filn gained ger good reviews.She then made het Tamil language film debut alongside Ravi Krishna in Kedi.Althouhgh the film did not do so will at the box office Ileana was sought after by many ditrectors and actors in Tamil for films which she eventually rejected due to ner commitments in Telugu.Recently she acted with Pawan Kalyan in the movie jalsa.She curently sughed a Tamol film opposite to lLVijay.She also signed a film against manchu Cishnu Vardhan being directed by YVS Chowdary which is tentativily titled as Saleem.Her 2009 film against Ravi Teja titled Kick is a hit at the box office.She also signed a film aginst Nitin ,titled "Local".
